Background

Expertise France, through the Initiative, supports essential health projects on the Thailand-Myanmar border, particularly for refugees. This documentary highlights the impact of these funds on organizations like SMRU and M-Fund, which provide vital medical services.

Expertise France gathered a collection of footage documenting their field actions and sought our post-production expertise to create a captivating documentary.

Challenge

The main challenge was to transform hours of interviews and video footage of highly variable quality with poor sound recording into a quality, engaging and coherent documentary capable of effectively conveying the message.

The content had to combine informative rigor and emotional engagement without resorting to victimization.

Another difficulty was the integration of lengthy texts, which were mandatory, without making viewing cumbersome.

Result

Lalicorn’s careful editing and post-production work resulted in content highly praised by the Expertise France and AFD teams.

A series of short formats, including 3 cutdowns and 1 teaser, enabled them to communicate effectively on their social networks.
